GOGOBOP approached our studio to refine their existing design ethos and establish a strong architectural identity that could serve as a foundation for future store development. For the Monrovia location, we worked within a compact footprint to create a space that feels energetic, highly recognizable, and operationally clear.

The design is organized around a central open service counter, creating an intuitive flow from ordering through pickup while maintaining strong visual connections throughout the restaurant. A vivid orange tile wraps the primary counter and extends into custom metal railings and graphic accents, translating Gogobop’s bold brand palette directly into the architecture. This saturated color is balanced by a restrained material palette of white tile, stainless steel, natural wood, black detailing, and translucent glass block.

Warm wood seating and a continuous perimeter ledge soften the more utilitarian elements of the open kitchen, while a procession of oversized pendant fixtures reinforces the length of the dining space and gives rhythm to the ceiling above. Bold signage and graphics are integrated directly into the interior, creating a cohesive design language intended not only for this location, but as a clear direction for the brand to build upon as it expands.
