This project was designed as a store within a storefront. The existing glazed storefront system supplied by Moynihan Train Hall is cleanly detailed but offers little opportunity for unique design or branding. By allowing the glazing system to act as a transparent skin, and by implementing the brand’s trademark neon signage behind it, a reflective layering is created. The space features the brand’s signature plywood millwork, slatted paneling, emerald textured tiles, custom pink Corian, and mint green accents. Perhaps the best executed store to date, this location delivers functionality, brand awareness, and sleek design.
