Strict permitting parameters required that Cha Cha Matcha create a café within a retail space at this already small location. Bifold windows with integrated exterior bench seating were used to open the space to the outside, creating a dynamic customer experience which flows onto the Abbot Kinney Boulevard sidewalk. Our design features custom-made pink terrazzo countertops, alongside pink stucco accents and green hues of powder-coated steel accessories. For a touch of warmth, marine-grade plywood was used to finish the ceiling as well as the millwork around the space.
